Junior Scrabble – AD Gifted

Don’t you just love it when learning is made fun!?

I’ve been having such a fun time with the brand new Scrabble Junior Dictionary and activity books!

There are 2 activity books (1 for age 7-8 and the other for age 8-9) and they have lots of fun spelling activities inside such as:

  • Unscrambling letters
  • Adding ING
  • Sounds that are the same
  • Word-searches
  • Crosswords and so many more

The Junior Scrabble game has 2 ways to play. 1 way for a younger learner who are still learning to spell and the other for more advanced spellers to make up their own words.

I really loved just reading through the dictionary which is set out so it is easy to find words and has colourful pictures inside too!

Mummy said, ‘As a parent, I’m always trying to find fun ways to help the kids learn, activities that they don’t even realise that they’re learning, they’re just having a lot of fun with and I can honestly say that Maxwell is loving the activity books (even India couldn’t help herself, she was looking over Maxwell’s shoulder wanting to do the activities too.’ (Hope that didn’t bore you too much, she did harp on a bit)

India and I both had a lot of fun with the board game too and the dictionary was so handy if we weren’t quite sure of the spelling of a word or if India was trying to cheat by making up a word or trying to misspell it.
