Mummy says Plasticine has been around for a long time (since 1897) and we can see why! It is so so much fun to play with, never dries out, we can be super creative building models, animals, people and lots more as the options are endless, all you need is your creativity!
The very lovely people from Plasticine have kindly sent us this amazing range of their products for us get our creative Easter vibes on. We had a lot of fun creating chicks, bunnies, Easter Eggs, an Easter basket and we even made some carrots for the bunny. The super fun sets we received are:
- Plasticine FunTUBulous – This cool tub with carry handle comes with 8 big tubes of different coloured Plasticine and 4 cutting tools
- Plasticine Fluro- This pack comes with 9 neon colours (they’re super bright) and 1 modelling tool
- Plasticine Tools – We really love this plastic box as it is perfect for storing your tools in and has cute little locks on the front. This one comes with 7 lovely colours, 5 shaped cutters, 1 modelling tool and 1 roller.
- Plasticine 24 Colour Max – If you are looking for lots of different shades of colours then this is the pack for you! We definitely used this one the most as we enjoyed the variety of colours.
- Plasticine Uber Tubes – This enormous box comes with 16 colours, cutters, 2 modelling tools, 1 mat and a roller. The amount that comes in this box will keep us going for ages!
Each set comes with a sheet showing you how to create different colours as well as some ideas as to what to create. It can also be a fun way to teach us kiddies how different colours are made as well as experimenting to get a lighter or darker shade.
We just know our little cousins are going to love playing with and creating models as much as we have, we can’t wait to share it with them. We were given a challenge in school to make something at home from whatever we like but it must be able to hold a cream egg and not fall over, of course we used our Plasticine!
