Don’t you just love that crackling sound slime makes when it has a crunchy layer around it? I definitely do and this Bakery Crackle set by @charactertoysย lets you make your very own!
What comes with the Bakery Crackle set?
Have a look at the photo above to see everything the set comes with. I love the bright colours of the set and it comes with so much including:
- x1 bakery crackle bash unit
- x1 phone stand
- x4 moulds
- x1 sticker sheet
- x1 instructions
- x3 4oz pre made slime (pink, blue and purple)
- x1 2oz crackle glaze
- x1 bag of glitter, x1 bag of sequins, x2 bags of beads, x4 vials
- x1 paintbrush
- x1 modelling knife and
- x5 0.5oz modelite compound (white, brown, purple, yellow and pink)
How do you use the Bakery Crackle set?
The set is a lot of fun to set up and use! I will talk you through step by step of the fun you will have:
- After you have set your set up, choose which mould you would like to use.
- Once you have chosen your mould, decide which colour(s) of the modelite you are going to use.
- Decide how you’re going to decorate then put the Modelite into the moulds (top and bottom)
- Make a cm dent into the top and bottom mould (this is the space you will need to put in the slime)
- Next choose which colour of slime you want to use and put 1 teaspoon sized amount into the bowl.
- Decide if you’re going to use glitter, sequins or beads or them all! Mix together
- Put the slime mix into the dent you made in your modelite and close the lid over to press together.
- I found that leaving it in the mould for about 10 mins helped form the shape of the mould better.
- If it is slightly stuck then use your modelling knife to help you get it out
- Now you’re going to put it on the plate and start putting a layer of the crackle glaze over your creation using the paint brush.
- I coated the top then let it dry, turned it over and did the same with the bottom. It says it takes 3 hours but ours took about an hour. You will know if it is still tacky to let it dry further before coating the other side.
- Once dried get ready to make your slime ASMR video using the phone stand provided
